Joy Defined

Merriam Webster defines Joy as "the emotion evoked by well-being, success, or good fortune or by the prospect of possessing what one desires." It first came into definition in the 1400s when we found a way to capture what extreme happiness felt like.

Sources of Joy

Joy is within you, at this very moment. Gratitude precedes Joy. When you feel Joy you are experiencing tremendous levels of happiness that cannot be topped with any substance. Joy releases tremendous oxytocin and dopamine, chemicals flowing within your brain, signaling what you love and thoroughly enjoy.
