The odds are in your favor

There is a significant part of our brain that is designed to help keep you alive. It helps perceive potential threats as "near-death" experiences, even if they are not. Our automatic response to danger is commonly known as the "fight or flight response."

Stress Response Triggers Three Things

The body, the environment, and time. Your mind triggers the body to be taken care of at all costs. Your mind helps you identify where you can run to safety. Your mind helps to identify how much time you have to get to safety.

The odds are better than you think

The vast majority of our anticipated danger is far from dangerous. There are no T-Rex animals ready to eat you. Yet, when your fear triggers danger, you are obsessing about 0.00001 percent instead of the 99.99999 percent of reality.

I'll deal with reality when working with my audience of individuals. Don't let that less than 1% keep you from living life. The odds are in your favor.
